Little Rock native Ronnie Paige gets the "Heroes in our Midst" bronze medallion for his commitment to mentorship and service.
He's a firefighter who began mentoring Little Rock kids three years ago through Big Brothers-Big Sisters.
For the past year Paige has visited his little brother, Princeton, at Woodruff Elementary. He uses his days off to spend lunch and recess there.
