The Greeting Card Association is the industry trade association representing greeting card and stationery publishers. Its primary objective is to celebrate, promote and preserve the tradition and cultural values of sending greeting cards. The association, headquartered in Washington, DC, also serves as the only private-sector advocate for consumers regarding postal costs.

The Greeting Card Association sincerely thanks the scores of Big Brothers Big Sisters and Camp Fire USA volunteers for their enthusiasm and hard work in making the Heroes In Our Midst program a reality.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. It helps children reach their potential through one-to-one relationships, professionally supported, with measurable results. The organization serves 240,000 children, ages 6 through 18, in all 50 states.

Camp Fire USA is one of the nation's leading not-for-profit youth development organizations, currently serving nearly 750,000 children and youth annually. Camp Fire USA, with national headquarters in Kansas City, Mo., provides all-inclusive, coeducational programs in hundreds of communities across the United States.
